Yancheng City District SRT is a super virtual rail project in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China. The project was officially commissioned in April 2021.[1][2] It is one of 16 "new infrastructure" projects in Tinghu District. Overview[编辑]

To the ground virtual track-oriented operation of the super rail train (car length of about 36 meters), the first phase of the line from the Youth Road and Yuejin Road intersection, along the Youth Road elevated ground lanes to the west, stopping at the Youth Road and Baoxing Road intersection, the total length of the entire line of about 13.0 kilometers, set up 17 stops, the average station distance of the line is about 820 meters, the east side of the return yard using the current situation of Pavilion Lake New District bus back to the yard reconstruction, the west side of the return yard is not set up for now. In the youth road and baoxing road west of the intersection, the use of elevated bridge piers under the space, the construction of fast charging pile, for SRT vehicles in the operation of the charging period. During non-operational period vehicles are uniformly parked on the east side of the Tinghu New District bus back to the car park. [4] of which 8 stations east of Open Avenue has been completed, Open Avenue to the West Ring Road section of 5 stations, the use of the current situation of the BRT platform for SRT platform function alteration; West Ring Road to the Baoxing Road section, along the route of the new 4 SRT station.

The fare is $1, no tickets are sold, the downtown bus transfer policy is implemented, bus signal priority passes are implemented on the entire route, and the travel time for a single trip is about 45 minutes. [1]

In May 2020, the implementation opinions on promoting the city's new infrastructure construction were released, mentioning the accelerated implementation of the SRT demonstration line. [5]In June, Yancheng City Mayor Cao Lubao held a meeting to study the SRT planning in depth [6], the same month, Yancheng City District SRT line one project pre-approval public notice was released.[7] On July 3 of the same year, the Tinghu District of Yancheng City signed a contract with CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive to carry out project cooperation for the Super Virtual Rail Train System (SRT). [8] Yancheng Municipal Party Secretary Dai Yuan praised the industrialization of the SRT in Yancheng during his visit to CRRC in August of the same year. [9] On November 3 of the same year, the Youth Road BRT platform closure construction announcement was released, based on the construction needs of the SRT project.
