狐甲魚屬（學名：Foxaspis）是都勻魚科的一屬。本屬以發現的九尾狐甲魚（Foxaspis novemura）命名，九尾狐源於山海經中的九尾狐，拉丁文novem指的是九，-ura的意思為尾巴。九尾狐甲魚有九個指狀分叉，故名。
