2023年10月27日晚上，以色列國防軍對加薩走廊發動大規模地面攻勢[10][11][12][13][14][15]，以色列總理納坦雅胡宣布以色列—哈瑪斯戰爭進入第二階段，目的是消滅哈瑪斯並救出人質[16]。
超過3500名在加薩的巴勒斯坦人在以色列採取軍事行動後被殺[17]，其中包括超過7800名兒童，4900名婦女。另外，還有1萬名因掩埋在廢墟下而被推斷為失蹤或者死亡[18]。截至12月中旬，以色列向加薩投下了2.9萬枚彈藥，摧毀或損壞了70％的房屋，摧毀了數百處文化地標，並損壞了數十處墓地。[19][20][21]專家表示，此次對加薩走廊的破壞程度和速度是近代歷史中最為嚴重的一次[22][23]。
加薩走廊面臨嚴重的人道主義危機，加薩走廊醫療系統處於崩潰狀態[24]，以色列的封鎖導致加薩的食品、清潔水、藥品和燃料短缺[25][26][27]，電力和通訊中斷[28]，聯合國警告加薩走廊可能出現饑荒[29]。據報導，以色列仍然攻擊了已經提前告知巴勒斯坦人應該前往避難的區域，導致了加薩「沒有一處安全的地方」。[30][31][32]近230萬的加薩人無家可歸[33]，以及25萬至50萬以色列人流離失所[34][35][36]。與此同時，以色列拘捕了數千名巴勒斯坦人[37][38][39]，並表示截至2024年5月27日，以色列在此次入侵中又額外損失了288名士兵[40]。

全面轟炸反擊與準備動員[編輯]
2023年10月7日，哈瑪斯武裝分子大規模突襲以色列，殺害1,400人並擄走逾220名人質，以色列繼而向哈瑪斯宣戰[44]。以色列動員30萬名預備役軍人，並將裝甲車運往加薩走廊邊境。並使用火砲與空襲方式日夜不停消耗哈瑪斯據點，在數千平方公里的加薩，落彈量就達到近兩萬噸，轟炸總威力甚至超越了廣島市原子彈爆炸[45]。
加薩走廊境內的試探行動[編輯]
自2023年10月13日，以色列對加薩發動多次空襲和地面突襲，以回應哈瑪斯於10月7日至13日期間對以色列的襲擊。10月27日，由於以色列加強轟炸行動，加薩的網際網路和行動電話服務幾乎切斷。以色列國防軍隨後宣布對加薩走廊發動大規模地面攻勢。據報導，哈瑪斯和以色列國防軍在拜特哈農和布雷傑鎮附近發生了衝突。[46]

10月[編輯]
10月27日晚，以色列國防軍對加薩走廊的拜特哈農和布雷傑鎮發動大規模地面攻擊。[47] 。 10月28日，以色列表示，前一晚部署在加薩走廊的部隊仍在加薩附近。[48] 以色列國防軍宣布正在加薩走廊「擴大地面行動」。以色列總理班傑明·納坦雅胡表示「戰爭的第二階段已經開始」，以色列軍方再次呼籲加薩居民撤離北部。
以色列國防軍三軸推進，同時空襲和炮擊強度加大。10月29日，以色列士兵占領了加薩走廊的一座小鎮，並在鎮上升起了以色列國旗。

11月5日，以色列國防軍報告稱，在加薩走廊的戰鬥中，有29名士兵死亡，一名士兵重傷。[50]
11月11日，拜特哈嫩附近的一條隧道內發生爆炸，造成包括一名少校在內的四名以色列國防軍軍官死亡，另有四人受傷。所有傷亡人員均來自第697預備役旅第551 營的火箭。[51]
